Open Set View Tab , Then click Edit Named Views … Click a little disk icon to save the currently active view — you can choose to change its name if you want. You can now have two views, side by side: Floating viewports work best with multiple monitors. We can give each view a name and store it for later use. Any named view widget displaying the view is also updated, and changes to the named view via the widget are reflected in the floating viewport. That does look broken Maybe same issue as undoing camera widget moves?

Not sure if they’re the issue but in my mind this is low importance. If you zoom before selecting the camera point it seems to work normally. I find is SO frustrating getting a view just right then either accidentally moving the camera which undo doesn’t undoor forgetting to do a named view and then deliberately moving the view only to discover later that I forgot to save it.
The 3View command sets up a three-viewport workspace with parallel world viewpory and world front views and a world perspective view.
Combines all model tabs into one tab.

The orientation and construction plane for existing views are not modified. I don’t think named views really provide the same functionality. If you had your view set to show a “camera’s view,” then undo could actually undo camera moves.

Note that the saved views can be shown as camera ‘widgets’ that can be manipulated like objects if needed. I’ve made the issue confusing by bringing up both subjects in the same thread. The ToggleFloatingViewport command changes the floating viewport back into the normal Rhino viewport located inside the Rhino application window.
